http://bluecelldesign.ro/sites/ehcp/ehcp_capture1.png

How it looks EHCP now, after 1 day of changing a few things in the template!? The left slidebar can be hidden/show with javascript and the groups of icons can collapse and the page has a preload in case it loads slow, just like plesk (but with ubuntu look and feel).

Also i have to say, both (EHCP and ISPConfig) are great control panel. There is one more, in my opinion better then all (all means all, not only the two are compared here), but is not developed, at least for a while. I don't mention the name, but became open source, maybe you can figure which one is it.

Cheers,
Razvan

Yes, it does. I was just thinking that the appearance might be deceiving, but I don't know, I'm not a complete security expert :)

On a side note I should be getting that Xbox this Thursday so expect an update on that then :D

Another side note.. Seems like bind9 had some issues or something because technologyinsanity.co.cc was down but the server wasn't so I restarted bind and everything was good. I don't know why that would happen. Also it seems to take forever for it to find the nameserver, probably because my nameserver is on a .co.cc domain.. Once it connects it seems to go at the right speed though.

I actually downloaded EHCP with the intent to analyze it for security issues, but got sidetracked when I discovered that it wanted to use apt to install php among other things. That would have really screwed up my testbed, so I guess it will have to wait.
I may end up grabbing a fresh ubuntu server iso for a test run in virtualbox. At first glance though, it does appear pretty "jikky" though...
