Where To Buy Geek Clothes
Yes, I am guilty of buying geek clothing. Several items, in fact. Usually I get more interesting comments from people than when I just wear a ralph lauren shirt though, so it makes things interesting.
I’ve bought from:
Jinx
Jinx has some interesting shirts, though lately it seems like they’ve been more focused on gamers than “true” geeks. Gamers are a huge niche, so I’m sure it was a tactical decision. However, they still have plenty of geek shirts to browse through and some gems you might like.
They also have some neat accessories and peripherals you might be interested in, but it’s clear their main business is in clothing. Take a look around Jinx and see for yourself!
ThinkGeek
These guys, oh boy. They’ve gotten me to buy some stupid stuff over the years. I have an einstein doll, I bought several t-shirts and they were my main supplier of bawls for a long time. I also bought a keyboard from them way back when along with other stuff I don’t really remember, but I had fun with my geek toys I bought from them.
I still look around at all the interesting stuff they carry, it’s a nice shop for “us” geeks. They don’t focus on gaming nearly as much as Jinx does, but they are constantly coming out with new stuff. They also sell lasers, marshmallow shooters and science related knickknacks. It reminds me of going to a candy store as a kid. They’re obviously my favorite shop, but if you’re a gamer you’d probably prefer Jinx.
Anyway, that’s about it as far as geek stuff goes for me. I know there’s lots more out there in small shops made by zazzle and such, but Jinx and Thinkgeek are the big players.
